I feel terrible that I don’t have money to give every homeless person a dollar.

When an old man is begging for change and a group of teenage/ early twenty somethings laugh and “talk shit” on the man begging. My heart breaks. I understand we all work hard for our money and yeah, we can’t always just hand it out. To have the courage to beg for money even if you are going to turn around and buy booze and smack with it…that takes a lot. Who am I to judge ? I spend my money on booze. Even if I did work for it.
